This work is a collaborative effort involving experts like Dr. Faisal Khan, Dr. Stratos Pistikopoulos, Dr. Rajeevan Arunthavanathan, Tanjin Amin, Zaman Sajid, and Dr. Yuhe Tian. The primary objective is to create a framework that integrates AI and Human intelligence (HI) to enhance safety and efficiency in process safety systems.
The research conducted by these experts aims to demonstrate that AI and human intelligence can work in harmony, rather than AI replacing humans in decision-making processes. Dr. Khan is a firm believer in this approach, emphasizing that AI can be a valuable tool in analyzing real-time data, predicting maintenance requirements, and detecting faults automatically.
