Players suspected of automating multiple player actions from a single game input may now face being kicked from their match, especially on Valve Official Servers.

The implementation of this new policy has already had a significant impact on players using features like Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions (SOCD) on their keyboards. Well-known hardware manufacturers like Razer and Wooting were quick to integrate these features into their product offerings, leading to a wave of players utilizing them in the game. However, with Valve’s crackdown, using these features, such as Snap Tap or Snappy Tappy, can now result in immediate removal from a game.

Professional Counter-Strike 2 players, in particular, have been vocal about the use of SOCD features in the game.
