The Future of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has been making waves in the gaming community since its release last month. The highly polished Metroidvania has captured the hearts of fans and critics alike, earning its spot as one of the best games in its genre. Now, Ubisoft Montpellier has announced plans for free updates to the game, promising to add extra content and modes to keep players engaged and entertained.

Game director Mounir Radi recently took to social media to express his gratitude to players for their support and to announce the upcoming updates. In a video message, Radi shared his excitement about the future of The Lost Crown, stating that the team is “far from being done” with the game. He promised that there are “cool plans for the coming months”, which will include free updates with additional content and modes for players to challenge themselves, explore, and enjoy.

While some players may be eager to dive into the new content, Radi advised them to make use of the resources available in the game to hone their skills. He suggested training with Artaban, one of the characters in The Lost Crown who offers combat tutorials and challenges. Additionally, Radi recommended trying to complete the game in Immortal mode, the hardest difficulty level available. He emphasized that acquiring these skills could prove to be very useful in tackling the upcoming challenges.

Mixed Reactions

As a fan of The Lost Crown myself, I am thrilled at the prospect of new modes and content being added to the game. Having completed the game and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I am looking forward to new ways to engage with the world of the game. However, I must admit that the idea of the additional content being even harder is slightly daunting. The Lost Crown already presented its fair share of challenges, especially when facing off against tough bosses. While I appreciate the opportunity to further test my skills, I can’t help but feel a hint of trepidation about what lies ahead.

The future looks bright for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown with the promise of exciting updates and new content on the horizon. Players can expect to face even greater challenges and immerse themselves in fresh gameplay experiences as they explore the world of this captivating Metroidvania. As we eagerly await the arrival of the first free update, it’s clear that the adventure is far from over in The Lost Crown.
